ISL Training Center has formulated an Training Agent Code of Conduct to form the basis of developing a professional relationship between the School and the Agent. The Code outlines a number of standards in order for the Agent to maintain the highest professional standard, act ethically with due diligence, fairness, integrity, honesty and dignity and in a manner that is not detrimental to the public interest, the student, ISL Training Center or the Cambodia education sector.
Code of Conduct
I. The Agent agrees to employ appropriately qualified staff, or to train all staff who will assess the extent to which the applicant meets the requirements of ISLTraining Center Courses for which they are applying based on the applicant's qualifications and proficiencies.
II. The Agent ensures that the recruitment of students is conducted at all times in an ethical and responsible manner and consistent with the requirements of ISL Training Center Courses as detailed in materials published by ISL.
Responsibilities of the Agent
The Agent agrees to provide the following services:
a) To fairly and accurately represent ISL Training Center at all times and to acknowledge that false representation of the relationship between the Agent and ISLTraining Center, or misrepresentation of ISLTraining Center course fees, course content, facilities, aims and corporate objectives shall result in immediate termination of this contract by ISL Training Center.
b) To liaise regularly with ISL Training Center in order to confirm receipt of applications, arrange payment schedules, inform ISL of potential opportunities, marketing activities and issues.
c) To act as a point of contact for ISL Training Center in the formulation and distribution of ISL Training Center publicity materials relevant to the recruitment of international students.
d) To advise ISL Training Center of any Government initiatives or laws having a direct bearing upon this agreement and the recruitment of international students generally.
e) To keep and maintain records of all applications submitted to ISLTraining Center in absolute confidentiality and make such records available to ISL Training Center on request.
f) To refrain from the appointment of Agents or representatives acting for or on behalf of the Agent without the prior consent of ISL Training Center. Such Agents or representatives acting for or on behalf of the Agent, when approved, are subject to the same professional codes of ethics as the Agent. They too, must also undertake not to misrepresent ISL Training Center in any way.
g) To refrain from any activities that may, by association, be detrimental to the reputation or integrity of ISL Training Center.
